Why independence matters
Independent information creates confidence in trade.
Goods pass through production, storage, transport, loading, discharge and customs clearance before they reach a buyer. At every one of those stages, a discrepancy can appear in quantity, quality, specification, packaging, condition or documentation.
Our inspectors provide an independent assessment at those points, so buyers, sellers, government agencies and financiers are all working from the same reliable record. We never buy or sell the goods we inspect.

Pre-shipment inspection for Nigeria's non-oil exports
Carmine Assayer provides inspection and verification services in support of the Nigerian Export Supervision Scheme, established under the Pre-Shipment Inspection of Exports Act 1996. In 2015 the company was mandated to carry out pre-shipment inspection of non-oil exports from the south-western part of Nigeria.
